Nancy Ann McMahan

Nancy Ann McMahan, age 83, wife of Bob McMahan, passed away at her home, peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday April 23, 2025. Nancy was born in western Kentucky to the late Jesse Dee and Anne Ballard Herndon. Nancy was a retired social worker for the State of Kentucky, a longtime member of Berea Baptist Church, and she was also a graduate of Georgetown College, where she met and married Bob McMahan. Bob and Nancy have been married 63 years. Nancy was also preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Shipp.

Nancy is survived by her husband Bob, her children: Russell (Stephanie) McMahan, Stephanie (Heath) Kelley, her sister Patty Thompson, her grandchildren: Taylor (Austin) Huffman, Allyson McMahan, and Brooklyn Kelley, her great-grandchildren: Mason Huffman, Blakley Huffman, Beckham Huffman, Hunter McMahan.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday May 3, 2025 at Berea Baptist Church from 11am – 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus 350 Isaacs Lane Richmond, KY 40475. Condolences can be made at lakesfuneralhome.com.
