Beverly Farrell Hall, 89, passed away Friday afternoon, March 14, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Estill County on Dec. 19, 1935, to the late R. J. and Dollie Tuttle Hall. He was the retired owner of Hall Brothers Plumbing a company that operated for over 32 years with his brothers Lowell and Wayne Hall. He was a man of many talents. In addition to plumbing, heating, and air conditioning, his hobbies included carpentry work and gardening. He took great pride in his rose bushes. He also built a few houses along with the help of his many friends and family.
Farrell was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved UK Basketball. He loved and respected everyone. He was a former member of the Kentucky Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Norma Sue Hall; four daughters: Belinda Lunsford (James), Donna Martin (Mike), Elizabeth Harbolt (Marty), and Dolly Poersch (Peter); son-in-law: Russ Tracy; sister: Patricia Martin (Jim); sister-in-law: Mary Hall; twelve grandchildren: Athena Richey (Donnie), Michael Lunsford, Alisha Rose (Chris), Barry Martin (Michelle), Nick Martin, Megan Windhorst (Logan), Brennan Coulston (Meghan), Maggie Edwards (Bryan), Alexander Harbolt, Alexandra Poersch, Julia Poersch, and John Poersch; twenty great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Cherie Hall Tracy, and his brothers, Lowell, Billy, David, Wayn,e and Norman Hall.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 23, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Pastor James Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery at Waco.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Michael Lunsford, Barry Martin, Nick Martin, Brennan Coulston, Alexander Harbolt, and John Poersch.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Hall, Ricky Hall, James Lunsford, Mike Martin, Russ Tracy, Marty Harbolt and Peter Poersch.
