Jerry Brandenburg, 69, of Richmond, passed away early Monday morning, May 12, at Baptist Health - Richmond.

Jerry was born in Manchester on June 1, 1955, the son of the late Rufford & Leona Whicker Brandenburg. At a young age, Jerry started in the car detailing business, and in 1994, Jerry opened his own business, Bedliners Etc, which he was still operating at the time of his death. He was an avid UK Basketball fan, playing golf & going camping, but his favorite pastime was cheering on his grandkids and spending time with his family.

Survivors including his wife of 36 years, Angie King Brandenburg; his children, Chad Brandenburg, Beth Roe (Frankie), and Scott Brandenburg (Rachel); his brother, Fred Brandenburg (Karen); his sister, Joyce Rose (Reuben); his grandchildren, Jerrett, Cash, Addison, Noa, and one more on the way; as well as many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers: Johnny Brown, Denver Brown, Denzel Brown, Andy Brown, Bobby Brown, Harold Brandenburg, and Darrel Brandenburg.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Bro. Bill Edwards & Pastor Tony Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Scott Brandenburg, Frankie Roe, J.T. Napier, Will Edwards, Jay Carpenter, Tyler Abshear, Shawnie Brown and Chigger Oliver.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Red Carpenter, Mike Rice, Gordon Rice, Terry Bray, Gary Rose, and Bobby Russell.
