John Austin Napier, 19, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington,. Austin was Born on Feb. 21, 2006, to Jennifer Napier and Tim Saylor in Richmond. Austin enjoyed hanging out and spending time with his friends, fishing, playing pool, going to dirt track racing and truck meets, and hot rods. Austin was of the Christian Faith.
Preceding Austin in death is his Paternal Grandfather Irvine Saylor.
Other than his parents, Austin is survived by one sister, Paige Saylor of Rockcastle County, Maternal Grandmother Brenda Dixon of Versailles, Maternal Grandfather Dean Napier of Cartersville, and Paternal Grandmother Frances Saylor. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation Will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2025, also at the funeral home. Rev. Jerry Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery.
