Sarah Riley age 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday, Feb. 28, at the Berea Health Care Center. Sarah was born in Madison County to the late Leonard and Rachel Wilson, she was retired from Parker Seal Company and a longtime member of the Westside Baptist Church. After her retirement, Sarah worked many years for Walmart as a Greeter and volunteering at Berea Hospital.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Riley, and her siblings: Paul Wilson, Pat Wilson, Fern Botkin, and Vea rlene Sturdevan.
Sarah is survived by her children: Steve Riley, and Becky (Bobby Jack) Woods, her sister Norma Jean Marsh, her grandson Christopher (Donna) Riley, and granddaughter Jennifer Brooke Riley, and great-grandchildren: Zach Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Zoie Riley, and Walter Blake Riley.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Livingood officiating, burial will be in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday,y March 5, from 6-8 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home. The funeral services will be live-streamed on the funeral home website.
